Our New Kubb Set

It seems as if I have waaayyyy too much spare time on my hands. Our new Kubb set is now ready for use. I thought you might like a sneak preview: Ashley appears to be the only one of us who has played this game before. If you want to catch up with her, you'd better watch the  best video on how to play Kubb before you hit the "fält".

Thanks to Ashley for suggesting a game that I'd never heard of - Kubb! Wikipedia has a pretty good description of the game . Given its (debatable) Viking origins, Kubb is the perfect addition to our suite of competitive events. If, like me, you need to check out the rules for playing Kubb, you can find a good description here . Then there are also the: I think this one's going to be a real winner! And the best part? As well as playing Kubb on grass, you can also play it in the snow, or even on ice! Wow! That means it can be included in both the Summer Games and the Winter Games. Needless to say, the construction of a Kubb set begins tomorrow. Thanks, again, Ashley!

And Now We Have Darts!

There has been great excitement here this week with the installation of a dart board in the garage! We gave it a trial run yesterday.
